This class will cover the ECM blower motor in depth including construction, operation, set-up, troubleshooting (with the TECMate) and repair. We also cover the benefits of two-stage systems and proper airflow. The knowledge gained in this course will help all technicians in their installations, service and maintenance. It will build confidence and competence when working with ECM motors. The biggest advantage of this course is that it comes directly from the manufacturer of the ECM motor that is currently being used in almost all residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air handlers, geothermal units and package systems. From theory to practical knowledge, it's all here, and the manual from the course is yours to keep. Included in this course is a copy of the ECM Service Guide (GE ECM handbook for service and troubleshooting using the TECMate), and a copy of the Decorating with Comfort video (A 15 minute informational video for consumers explaining the benefits of Ultimate Comfort Systems including the comfort and efficiency of two stage systems using variable speed motors, and the added benefits of comfort and savings related to dehumidification, humidifiers, high efficiency filtration, ventilation, proper system and duct sizing, and continuous airflow.
